At least two community service projects are done annually. After the events take place the students decide which organizations will receive the proceeds.
Solid Grounds
In addition to the annual projects students have furnished, decorated and provided support to a room named "the Falcon's Nest" at Solid Grounds (a shelter that gives hope and a future to homeless families, elderly and the disabled). The organization has periodically provided additional ongoing support.
Bunny Breakfast
Held a few weeks before Easter, the Bunny Breakfast includes a meal, crafts and a visit with the Easter Bunny. Kids get their picture taken and are given a special surprise to take home.
Polar Pizza Party
On a Friday night in December the Polar Pizza Party is a new event to replace the previous Breakfast with Santa. Many of the same activities are included: a meal, crafts, a photo with Santa and surprise gift. This event is at night and includes a pizza instead of breakfast.
Ford II High School Landscape Maintenance
As of June 2010 a new service project has been added : Clean Up and Planting outside door #1 and the front sign area at the high school.
